You have the power to make a difference and help protect our construction workers. According to OSHA, 5,333 workers died on the job in 2019 , average, more than 100 a week or about 15 deaths every day.!

Safety is often seen as a hassle. A list of rules to follow, an extra step before you get to go home, a piece of gear that takes time to put on early in the morning. We know why these rules are in place, and we logically understand that we should follow them, but we are all human. Our brains are designed to take the path of least resistance, and that often means skipping out on safety measures that can seem pointless if nothing has ever gone badly. In a workplace that could become dangerous, it’s important not only to understand the rules that need to be followed, but also to understand the psychological motivations, or the human element, that will encourage employees to actually follow them.
